S&P Global to Acquire OpenZeppelin

The $37 trillion figure refers to the cumulative value transferred through contracts using OpenZeppelin’s libraries over time, not assets that OpenZeppelin manages or holds.

The deal comes amid specific institutional tokenization activity, including BlackRock’s launch of tokenized money-market funds on Solana and Ethereum and banks’ exploration of blockchain-based financial products.
