Democrats add six more competitive races to the Red to Blue program.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has added six candidates to its “Red to Blue” program, less than a month before the midterm elections. The list now includes 46 Democrats seeking to flip GOP-favored seats. The candidates will receive "organizational and fundraising support," along with strategic guidance, staff resources and training. The six candidates are challenging GOP Reps. French Hill, Jeff Hurd, and María Elvira Salazar. In 2024, President Trump won the six districts highlighted by the DCCC by an average of roughly 16 points. The political director of the DCC believes Democrats could capture up to 240 House seats next month.
