Russian Air Strikes Destroy McDonald's Logistics Warehouse Near Kyiv

Russian forces struck a food warehouse in Brovary district, Kyiv region, twice on September 25, with a second attack triggering a fire that destroyed the facility. The warehouse, which had cold-storage rooms, served a logistics partner of McDonald’s; regional officials said it stored food and had no military facilities, and described the attack as a deliberate strike on civilian infrastructure. McDonald’s Ukraine confirmed the attack, said no one was injured at the warehouse, and reported that its restaurants were operating as usual while it assessed possible effects on its operations. Other Russian attacks that day damaged civilian sites in Kyiv and the surrounding region, with separate reports of deaths and injuries in the city.
Regional officials reported that 11 civilian facilities were damaged across Kyiv region on September 25. In Fastiv district, damage included five private homes and three cars; in Brovary district, warehouse facilities and a private home were damaged. Officials reported no deaths or injuries in the region.
