Neeraj Chauhan wins India's first individual recurve archery medal since 2010.

Before the medal match, Dhiraj Bommadevara beat Uzbekistan’s Amirkhon Sadikov 6-2 in the quarterfinals, while Neeraj Chauhan advanced with a 7-1 win over Bhutan’s Lam Dorji.
In the semifinals, top seed Bommadevara lost 3-7 to Paris Olympics bronze medallist Lee Woo Seok, and Chauhan lost 1-7 to Japan’s Junya Nakanishi.
The bronze match swung back and forth: Bommadevara levelled it at 2-2 after the second set, then went ahead 4-2 after the third; Chauhan won the fourth set to force a deciding fifth.
Chauhan secured the final set 29-28, shooting 29 to Bommadevara’s 28, and won the bronze-medal contest at Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Multipurpose Square.
