Samsung rolls out stable One UI 9 for Galaxy S26 and expands beta testing

Samsung is expanding its Android 17-based One UI 9 program on two fronts: unlocked Galaxy S26 phones enrolled in the beta are beginning to receive the stable update in the United States, while beta access has opened in India for the Galaxy A16 5G and Galaxy A54. The A-series additions extend testing beyond flagship phones, though Samsung has not confirmed availability in other regions or provided a full list of device-specific features. The S26 stable update is still rolling out in waves across markets and models, and Samsung is expected to bring One UI 9 to more Galaxy devices over time. Users considering the A-series beta should be aware that prerelease software may contain bugs.
The stable update for unlocked U.S. Galaxy S26 beta devices carries firmware build S94xU1UEU4BZID.
The A-series beta builds are ZZIE for the Galaxy A16 5G and ZZI4 for the Galaxy A54.
Samsung is already testing One UI 9 on several other mid-range and budget models, including the Galaxy A57, A56, A55, A36, A35, A25, A15 5G, A07 and Galaxy M34.
SammyGuru reports that some Galaxy A5x and A3x models may receive the stable update in the second half of October.
