Schools Celebrate Annual Homecoming Week with Athletic Events and Community Festivities

Farson-Eden’s volleyball team entered the week 7-7 overall and 1-1 in conference play, with Friday’s matches offering a chance to add two conference wins. The weekend also featured camouflage-themed volleyball attendance and a blackout theme for Saturday’s football game.
Spooner’s homecoming week included student dress-up days, float building, a Friday afternoon parade, the crowning of the homecoming king and queen, and a pep rally.
Rochester’s Friday spaghetti dinner drew more than 300 community members and raised nearly $1,000 for the youth football and cheer program; food and event supplies were donated by local businesses.
Middle Park running back Isidro Molina rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, while quarterback Finn Mullane completed 9 of 30 passes for 90 yards and threw two interceptions. Coach Sam Campfield said early injuries forced players Jackson Prather and Zac Boeckers to fill unfamiliar positions, where they performed well.
