GOP Super PAC Halts North Carolina Ad Spending and Shifts Funds to Kansas

The Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), a top Republican super PAC aligned with Senate GOP leadership, has halted its ad spending in the North Carolina Senate race and launched a new ad effort in Kansas. This move is seen as a sign that the fight for the majority is shifting to red states amid a tough political landscape for the GOP. The decision comes as Democrats are becoming more optimistic about their chances as President Donald Trump's approval ratings drop and voters express frustrations over high costs and the Iran war. SLF had been actively involved in North Carolina's race, where former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley is facing Democrat Roy Cooper. The group still has another $19 million in ads booked through Election Day but has no plans to add to that.
