Bhopal Unveils Draft Development Plan Featuring a 51-Kilometer Growth Corridor for Public Feedback

Madhya Pradesh has released the draft Bhopal Development Plan 2047 for public feedback, covering 254 villages across about 1,017 square kilometers and planning for a population of roughly 4.5 million. The proposal seeks to balance urban growth and jobs with conservation of lakes, hills, forests and other natural areas, and includes a 51-kilometer growth corridor linking EKAI City, the airport, logistics hubs and surrounding areas.
