Danganronpa 2×2 Remake Launches in January 2027 With an Alternate Slayhem Mode

Spike Chunsoft said pre-orders are open for both the standard edition and the limited Danganronpa 2×2 Psycho Tropical Vacation Package. The package is available as a physical edition for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, or PlayStation 5, or as a printed card containing a Steam key; the Steam version is exclusive to Spike Chunsoft’s official store.
Customers who pre-order the Psycho Tropical Vacation Package from the Spike Chunsoft Official Store will receive an exclusive flight tag that also functions as a keychain.
The Slayhem scenario is supervised by Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka and introduces completely different murder tricks in addition to its new victims and culprits.
Slayhem Mode is reported to contain roughly 20% more content than Original Mode, making the alternate scenario substantially larger than a simple story variation.
Spike Chunsoft previously delayed Danganronpa 2×2 from an initially planned 2026 launch to early 2027; the newly announced January date reflects that revised schedule.
