BMW Launches R 1300 GS With Automated Shift Assistant in Malaysia

BMW Motorrad launched the 2026 R 1300 GS with Automated Shift Assistant in Malaysia, priced at RM145,000 excluding insurance—RM3,000 more than the standard model. The system lets riders operate the gears while it controls the clutch, or automates both shifting and clutch operation; the motorcycle has a 145-hp, 1,300cc boxer engine and touring, comfort and dynamic equipment. Separate dealer listings feature 2026 BMW X3 M50 xDrive and M340i xDrive models with premium equipment and driver-assistance technologies. Two 2027 Mercedes-Benz CLE listings cover the CLE 450, with driver-assistance and comfort features including massage and ventilated seats, and the CLE 300 4MATIC, with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and nine-speed automatic transmission.
BMW Motorrad Malaysia includes a three-year warranty and three-year roadside assistance programme with the R 1300 GS ASA.
The X3 M50 xDrive listing describes an Unresponsive Driver Assistant that can bring the vehicle to a stop, switch on the hazard lights and, if equipped, contact emergency services when it detects prolonged driver unresponsiveness.
The M340i xDrive listing gives fuel economy of 26 mpg city and 33 mpg highway, and lists partial automated driving among its driver-assistance features.
The 2027 CLE 300 4MATIC listing specifies estimated fuel economy of 23 mpg city and 32 mpg highway.
