Alfa Chemistry Launches New Chemical Portfolio to Tackle Industrial Water Treatment Challenges

Alfa Chemistry is promoting a portfolio of chemicals for industrial water and wastewater treatment challenges, including suspended particles, dissolved fluoride, mineral scaling and microbial fouling. Its offerings include polymer-based coagulants and absorbents to help aggregate contaminants, agents intended to remove fluoride, antiscalants and dispersants to limit mineral deposits, and biocides and algicides to control biological growth. The company says product selection should be matched to water composition, operating conditions and treatment needs.
The absorbent range includes cationic and anionic polymers, polyacrylamide-based products, and PolyDADMAC-based materials. The article says PolyDADMAC can act as a coagulant or coagulation aid by interacting with negatively charged suspended particles and organic matter.
Alfa Chemistry’s defluorinating agents are presented as a targeted option for reducing dissolved fluoride, rather than relying on general clarification alone.
The antiscalant and dispersant portfolio is divided into polycarboxylic, organophosphonic, polyether, compound, and eco-friendly categories.
