Indian Railways introduces new daily overnight train service between Kanpur and Delhi

Indian Railways has approved a new daily overnight Mail service between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal, adding another travel option between Kanpur and Delhi. Train 14153 will leave Kanpur at 8:40 p.m. and arrive in Anand Vihar at 4:50 a.m.; the return service will depart at 11:25 p.m. and reach Kanpur at 7:25 a.m. The 428-kilometer journey takes about eight hours in each direction, with stops at Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri and Ghaziabad. The service is intended to improve overnight connectivity along the Kanpur–Delhi corridor and serve passengers traveling between the cities and intermediate stations.
