Miu Miu Reinvents Sportswear and Everyday Staples for Paris Spring Collection

Miu Miu’s commercial momentum extended beyond the runway: the brand ranked No. 2 on the Lyst Index, behind Chanel, and reported a 3% sales increase to more than €700 million in July.
The show was titled “Here and Now” and featured Olivia Colman, Igby Rigney, Emma Corrin and Gigi Hadid on the runway.
The collection included low-slung jeans created with Wrangler, reworking vintage denim with shoelace-inspired fastenings instead of conventional buttons, zips or belts.
Miu Miu has also built its cultural presence through a performance-wear collaboration with tennis player Coco Gauff and longer-running projects including a literary club and film commissions by female directors.

The brand's commercial momentum matched its creative ambition: Miu Miu ranked No. 2 on the Lyst Index and posted a 3% sales increase to more than €700 million in July, according to HOLR Magazine. The runway featured Olivia Colman, Emma Corrin, and Gigi Hadid modeling pieces that turned everyday clothes into something extraordinary.
The collection reimagined athletic basics by pairing them with unexpected elements. Track pants sat alongside blazers and knitwear, while low-slung separates and checked skirts brought Miu Miu's signature quirky character to the mix. HOLR Magazine noted that the designer added sparkle, texture, and statement details like crystal embellishments and unusual lacing to transform ordinary pieces.
Footwear played a crucial role in the juxtaposition. Bright trainers and gorpcore-style sneakers provided contrast to more refined pieces, while a new collaboration with New Balance on the RC150 running shoe—the fifth partnership between the brands—offered another option for the spring season, according to Vogue Adria.
Miu Miu partnered with Wrangler to create low-slung jeans that subvert traditional denim construction. Instead of conventional buttons, zips, or belts, the pieces feature shoelace-inspired fastenings—a playful detail that echoes Prada's broader mission to make familiar wardrobe staples feel fresh and unexpected.
Miu Miu has extended its influence beyond fashion shows through strategic collaborations and cultural projects. The brand partners with tennis player Coco Gauff on performance wear, runs a literary club, and commissions films by female directors. These initiatives strengthen Miu Miu's position as a lifestyle brand that reaches audiences across entertainment, sports, and the arts.
